Pulling together the successful lineup from the critically acclaimed third album “At The End Of The Rope” (2007, Bad Dog/Core Tex Records) The Negatives are back stronger than ever! After a short hiatus they’ve set out to record their 4th album of their own brand of streetwise punkrock starting with the split MCD with fellow Swedish punkrock band The Vitiators

The Negatives are a punkrock out!t from Landskrona, Sweden, that got started in 1999 with members from legendary Swedish punk bands The Bristles, Existenz and Skalatones as well as Gypsy Pistoleros. Their music has been compared to bands like Street Dogs, Dropkick Murphys, Sex Pistols and The Business but still they maintain a !ercely independent sound.

Vitiators, is a punk rock out!t from the south of Sweden with members from the now gone, but not forgotten bands like - CDCP, The Kalashnikov Orchestra and Royal Stakeout. With razor-sharp guitars, alarming drums and merciless vocals, Vitiators prove they are a band to be reckoned with. Infuenced by such distinguished acts like Motörhead, GBH, Exploited and more - Vitiators will surely leave

Suicide Syndicate’s debut album “BAD WOLVES EAT SMALL PIGS” is set for an early fall release on Switchlight Records September 16th!!

The album was originally going to be released in May but a serious car accident almost put a final end to singer/guitarist Bengtssons career,but against all odds “Bad Wolves Eat Small Pigs” will finally see the light of day.

During the recording of the album, two band members had close encounters with death and ended up in hospital, and the bass player even recorded with a broken arm.

Now,the band is aiming to stay alive, and everything is reported to be just fine in one of Sweden’s rowdiest live acts.

Suicide Syndicate is constantly touring. During 2010 they toured the Czech Republic, Austria, the Netherlands, Denmark and Germany. And another European tour is already in the works.

During the fall, Suicide Syndicate will tour Sweden extensively in support of their debut album “BAD WOLVES EAT SMALL PIGS” in stores September 16th!

Mattias Bengtsson, sångare och gitarrist i Malmöbaserade punkbandet Suicide Syndicate, som är aktuella med debutplattan Bad Wolves Eat Small Pigs (släpps 27 maj på Switchlight Records), var i fredags med om en allvarlig trafikolycka utanför Landskrona där han blev påkörd bakifrån vid köbildning och fick akut föras till sjukhus.

- Som jag förstått saken var han på väg till Lund för att jobba på Samlagsljud På Svenska, vispunkplattan med Regina Lund, när nån idiot brakade in i honom bakifrån i 100 blås, säger bandets manager, och fortsätter:
- Läget sägs vara allvarligt men mirakulöst nog inte livshotande. Han vet dock inte själv vad som har hänt än utan tror bara att han varit ute och festat. En rimlig slutsats om livet passerat revy. Med sig i bilen hade han dessutom sin gitarr, som bara blev till flisor, till skillnad från järn-Bengtsson.

Band och vänner har nu startat en insamling för att skramla till en ny gitarr.
- Utöver musiken och Fetgo är det bara saker som ligger antingen hundratals miljoner år bakåt i tiden eller hundratals miljoner ljusår härifrån som ger honom någon avlägsen tillfredsställelse, så får vi in mer pengar än till gitarren ger vi honom en brutal dinosauriedräkt, ny gokarthjälm eller rymdresa i födelsedagspresent. Jag hoppas någon vill donera en miljon på ett bräde så vi kan skicka upp honom i rymden när han repat sig. Han gillar inte att flyga.

It has been a pretty good year for us here at Switchlight Records. 2010 saw the release of The Bristles debut album(!!) "Reflections of the Bourgeois Society" in both CD [Digipack] and 12' Vinyl format. Twelve furious political charged punk anthems following the hard hitting sound of the previous year "Union Bashing State" EP. Check out our music player we are streaming the whole album!

Efter att för nästan två år sedan bevittnat Landskronas legendariska råpunkare The Bristles göra en inte allt för imponerande spelning är det inte utan en viss skepsis jag ger ”Reflections of the bourgeois society” en första genomlyssning. Men förväntningarna ställs på ända när redan första låten ”Checkpoint Sweden” välter ner all eventuell misstänksamhet mot återföreningsalbumet. Inte för att jag har lyssnat särskilt mycket på kvartettens äldre material, men det lilla jag har hört har absolut ingenting att sätta emot The Bristles anno 2010! Från början till slut (plattan är bara tjugofyra minuter lång, men ändå) radar Puma, Svegis, Ingemar och Ray upp punkhit efter punkhit, och hur klassiskt förutsägbar låtstruktur de elva spåren än må ha är det rakt igenom råpunk när den är som bäst. Dessutom med ett mer än lovligt tydligt samhällsengagemang och det är inte många som går fria när Puma skriker ut (med tydlig brittisk oi!-accent, pluspoäng för det) sitt missnöje med så kallade gula fackföreningar som ställer sig på arbetsgivarnas sida, Migrationsverket, vårt kapitalistiska samhällssystem, kändishysteri.. ja, det mesta som är fel i Sverige i dag helt enkelt. Lägg därtill en ovanligt fet produktion för genren och oväntade gästinhopp av Neli från reggaebandet Hoogans Hjältar och Landskronarapparen Emilush så har vi utan omsvep en av årets punkplattor redan innan första halvan av 2010 passerat!

CDCP announces new band member!

Greetings!

From now on, Mr D, or as we call him, Dejv, will be handling the bass in CDCP.

From the beginning we thought of him as a second guitar player but as the bass spot was free, he decided to grab the 4-stringed axe. Dejv is known from his other bands, Swedish heroes "PUKE" and kick ass "Moderat Likvidation".

The band will now write material for the full length album, and we will also write songs for a Swedish 7". The full length album will be released by Switchlight Records. The 7" will probably be released by ourselves.

Other news is that we had to cancel alot of shows this year due to hungry babies and sleepless nights, Stam aint ready for the shows quite yet. Yes, he and his wife got themselves a pair of babies. Twins!
